OUR FOUNDERS

Ashley Thomas and her mother Brenda Minor are the Co-Founders of the school. In 2014 they were given a vision from God to form a Christian School based on biblical principles and applications. In 2014 Totally Committed Ministries embraced the vision and is the umbrella of TCM Christian Academy.

Brenda Minor received both undergraduate and post-graduate degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, in Education, Sociology, and Social Work. She has over 20 years teaching experience from grades k5-12th grade. She also was an adjunct professor in the Social Behavioral Sciences division at Missouri Baptist University for 5 years. God has gifted her as an educator, clinical therapist, business woman, and ordained minister. She loves working with children and helping them achieve their optimum potential and seeing them become everything that God has ordained them to be.

Ashley Thomas is the visionary of TCM Christian Academy. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Missouri St. Louis. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in Education of Leadership and Management of Christian School Operations. Ashley has over 10 years’ experience working with children. Ashley is dedicated to seeing children achieve high academic success and seeing them walk in the path God has set for them.
